Mattia Capozzi Sorrentino
Product Design
I’m Mattia, a product designer with 11 years of experience (focusing for the last 3 years on design leadership) and roots in industrial and service design, which I studied in Milan. For the past 4 years, I’ve been focused on shaping digital products across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C models, always from both a business and a design perspective.
The questions driving my work are pretty consistent:
How do we create digital products that genuinely connect people and businesses?
How do we simplify complex processes so they can scale, but still feel human?
What does it take to grow products organically, not just force growth?
How can we build systems that are robust for enterprise, yet intuitive enough for anyone to use?
Over the past 11 years, I’ve partnered with a wide variety of organizations and industries: from Metro Markets, Europe’s largest marketplace, to global consultancies like Infosys, the digital hub of Lufthansa, and even Wikimedia, the world’s biggest open-source foundation.
All this experience has given me solid expertise in product growth, enterprise platforms, product design, and customer experience, not to mention the flexibility to thrive in fast-paced, international environments. My specialty is end-to-end product design: from discovery and strategy through execution and release, with a focus on automation, design systems, and optimizing experiences at scale.
When I’m not working, I spend time 3D modeling and printing, and I’m active with NABU to support bird conservation, a personal passion that keeps me connected to nature. It even gets me thinking: what can we learn from how birds move, migrate, and adapt, when we’re designing digital systems for a connected world?
